What has been your most scary moment in life?
Swimming at Huntington Beach in Southern California and seeing this fin keep coming toward me. I thought: “Death by a shark!” It was a porpoise.

If you were told right now that you've won a 70 million dollar lottery, how would you spend the moolah?
Pay off the mortgages of my five siblings and my two sons, oh yeah, mine also. See if my mom wanted a condo on the ocean. Sponsor several good friends that I met this past summer when I was teaching nursing in northeastern China. Positively retire. Look for a compound for a family retreat somewhere beautiful, beach or mountains, not sure. Travel. Invest.

No, I was a very boring teenager.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Just give me that 70 million dollars and I’ll send you postcards.

An older doting fulltime grandmother and traveler.

Wolves, sharks, bears, and rattlesnakes and being dependent on other people.

Birth of my two sons and my grandson

My mother named me after a 1940’s actress, Marsha Hunt.

What musical instruments can you play?
Swiss alpine horn. I won a contest in Lucerne, Switzerland for blowing those big, long alpine horns. This is thanks to my brother playing the trombone. I knew how to blow into the mouthpiece of a horn.

Have you ever seen a Broadway musical? Do you like theater?
Yes, Yes. Would you believe that when I was in Nursing School at UCLA in the late 60s, I saw Hair three times? Pretty racy for the times.

How would your friend describe you to someone who has never seen you?
She has a great smile. Just don’t do anything to elicit the “death stare!”

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do?
Relax in the outdoors.

What is the strangest thing you ever did?
Too many things to tell. I plan to just keep you guessing.

What is the strangest food you ever ate?
Roasted donkey. It was actually very good.

It would make my day! I've always wanted a BIG ranch. It would be great to be generous to others, I could have a lot of fun gifting.

Yes, it was one of my funniest youth group adventures along with putting up Christmas trees, about 50 in the front yard of a boy's house that my girlfriend liked. Too bad no one can afford to waste the toilet paper now.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to go to New Zealand, Scotland, and England.

I would like to see myself healthy and having fun with my grandchildren.

What has been your most scary moment in life?
When I was about 9 years old I went hunting with my dad and opa and we slid off this huge mountain with our horse.

Well first off I would pay for all my schooling, buy me a SWEET house and car, take some serious traveling time, pay for whatever my parents need paid off, donate some to charities, and then I would invest it so I could have more,

Have you ever gone toilet-papering? If so, tell us:
Oh dear well this was my thing when I was younger!! My mom used to take all my friends and I. But I will tell you about the worst time of them all. So it was my brithday party and we decided to go and do this gargantuan house on the hill that night. So we scaddeled and did and really good job, which entailed not only toilet-papering but also forking and kniving the lawn, saran wrapping all the trees, confedding the yard, and soaping the the door knobs and sprinkler box. After we had finished our job we looked at it and were proud. But to our dismay the next day I found out that my stickin neighbor had ratted us out!! The man who owned the house called my parents and asked if it was us. Then I offered to go and help clean up but they had already done it all. So feeling terribly gulity I made them a cake and a card telling them how sorry I was for toilet-papering their house!! The fear that set in when I arrived at their door is undescribeable!! But I mustered up all my courage!!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Africa, New Zealand, and Europe

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Probably living in Heber, working and raising my family.

What are you afraid of?
The dark, spiders, and all ocean creatures!!

1- Fell down an escaltor in the mall with all my friends.

Went truck tubbing down main street in Heber and went through McDonald's drive through to ask for more hot water for the tub in the back of the truck!

What was your first car?

In Logan, I'd have to say The Bluebird.

If you could have plastic surgery right now and change anything about yourself, what would you change?
I'd have a revision done on the scar that's on my lip.

What is the most you've ever eaten in one sitting?
Oh wow. Too much to remember what it was and how to list it on this form...

What has been your most scary moment in life?
When I recieved the phone call that my dad had had a heart attack..

Do you follow trends?
To an extent, but I also love having the opportunity to be the minority. I wouldn't ever do something I didn't want to do just because it was a trend.

If you were told right now that you've won a 70 million dollar lottery, how would you spend the moolah?
First things first, I'd set aside whatever I needed to finish my schooling. Next, I'd buy a relatively modest home. I would probably build my parents their dream home. I'd also have to take a small shopping spree and get hair extensions. I would invest the rest of the money...

Of course, but never with too much of an incident.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Africa. I would have said Europe first but that trip is already booked in May so my next stop would have to be Africa. I would love to take an African Safari, and complete the trip with some humanitarian activities.

At the age of 32 I would definitely like to be settled down with a family of my own, perhaps working part time in the Emergency Room.

I can't think of my most embarassing moment, but last week when the attractive cashier at Walmart's register said, "Have a good night", I accidentally responded, "I love you too!" That was embarassing.

Let's Get to Know Nikelaos


Do you have any undiscovered or hidden talents?
I have one AND ONLY ONE bragging right. Many of you already know that I play a little bit of the piano, however when I was a junior in high school, I received a full-ride scholarship to study piano performance at Juilliard School of the Arts in New York City. I chose to spend a couple of years in São Paulo, Brazil instead. Which leads me to another talent many may not know, I speak fluent Portuguese.

Let me prefix this by saying the message in Natasha Bedingfield's "Freckles" is incredible, but I would like to have laser hair removal from head to toe, in fact, that will probably be my graduation present to myself.

What's the most you've ever eaten in one sitting?
I'm going to answer this in terms of quality, not quantity. As embarrassing as this is to admit, on several occasions, I've eaten an entire box of Oreo cookies.

What has been your most scary moment in life?
Last August, when I was taken to the emergency room, oxygen saturation at about 45, my lungs quickly filling up with fluid... not really scary for me, but scary for Kristie.

I'd like to say no, I set them. However, I found a pretty funny article in a magazine...

I would donate the money to the Weber Nursing program and build us a fantastic lab, wouldn't you?

Heck no! I don't like messes.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to take a tour of Europe, and spend a lot of time in Italy. So romantic!

I would like to work with flight/trauma nursing in a big city, probably Phoenix.

Debra's pharmacology tests

What is your favorite holiday?
Valentine's Day, of course!

Favorite music or artist(s)?
Gwen Stefani is my favorite! I saw her five times last year in her Sweet Escape concert. I also love Enrique Iglesias. I saw him a couple weeks ago in Las Vegas. And do I dare say??? I like Ms. Spears. Some other artists that deserve honorable mention are Cher who we saw in concert in August, and IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, I would definitely go again, it was that good, we're going to go see Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour next month along with Céline Dion and Coldplay.

I've really taken a liking to one of Jem's new songs. Its called "Got it Good". My favorite part of the lyrics:

This may sound awkward, but I was so proud of myself when I finally got the courage to be who I really am.

Hmmm... which would work the best? zolpidem? temazepam? carisopridol? or just a plain, old diphenhydramine?

Either gymnastics or ballroom dancing

If Purple isn't already your favorite color, what is?
Depends on what it is being used for. I like purple scrubs. My car is yellow. I dye my hair black, my scooter and furniture in my house are also black. I like my blue eyes

If you were deserted on a beach, what are three emotions you'd feel?
Fear... "OMG, where the hell am I?"
Peace... "Ahhh, I'm on a beach, alone... how relaxing."
Boredom... "Okay, ten minutes of that was good enough."

Why were you given your particular name?
My birth name is Kelly, which is my dad's name, but my mother chose to call me Nicholas. I recently legally changed the spelling of it to the greek spelling, Nikelaos. It is derived from the greek goddess of victory Nike and Laos is greek for "of the people". So my name means victorious people, or leadership.

What is your favorite candy bar?
I don't eat sugar.

What musical instruments can you play?
As mentioned above, I play the piano, along with the violin, cello, contrabass, and bass.

Have you ever seen a Broadway musical? Do you like theater?
I love theater and musicals. This year I've seen Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, and Les Misérables.

How would your friend describe you to someone who has never seen you?
Eccentric

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do?
I very seldom have free time, but when I do, I like to write music.

What is the strangest food you ever ate?
If anyone's ever been in Brazil, its not hard to find pig ears and tails in the stew. I got courageous one day and tried one of each. Chicken feet aren't that uncommon either.

Are you a morning or a night person?
I like both. Both early morning and late night give me chances to be alone and get things accomplished.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up?
"Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!"
